As a lead designer and programmer for The Haunting of Olivia experience, I helped pitch, design and implement some of the interactions in both physical and AR game space.
Spatial Computing & Motion Tracking
I designed and wrote code to correlate real world position and movement into the game world equivalent utilizing propriety technology which allowed players to actively look around and interact with the game world in real time and world space.

Armed with Steamroller Technologies’ newest tech, the Specter Detector TM, you’ll come face to face with Olivia, the ghost of Bordeaux Estates. Once a beautiful magician’s assistant who tragically fell in love with her employer, Olivia haunts his former residence, tormenting visitors.
This remarkable immersive mixed reality experience utilizing lighting, sound, and motion platform technology will awaken your senses as you encounter a soul who’s not yet quite ready to leave this world for the next.
The Haunting of Olivia debuted at IAAPA, in Orlando, November 15-19, 2021.
Interactions
I designed and implemented the game world aspect of the experience including various game events via a mix of Blueprints and C++. Events such as the ghost interacting with the room to make books fly off the shelf, move the motion platform couches, spin a world globe, and even trigger the fireplace.
